Salt Smoke & Brine is a Michigan-based, family-run curated hospitality company founded by Head Chef and Owner Jen Biermann. Sous Chef Ryan Biermann brings precision, creativity, and a steady hand to the kitchen, helping shape each experience from preparation through the final course. Derek, Director of Operations & Logistics, is the backbone behind the scenes, managing the details, movement, setup, equipment, and problem-solving that allow each event to feel seamless.
Together, the team creates private dinners, weddings, destination events, retreats, and bespoke gatherings that feel intimate, layered, and entirely individual. Rather than working from a formula, Salt Smoke & Brine draws on each person’s strengths to create experiences that are thoughtful from every angle.
